CONGRESS APPROVES FINAL FY10 BUDGET RESOLUTION
America’s Student Loan Providers issued a new statement on final congressional approval of the FY Budget Resolution. "While disappointed with the outcome of today’s votes," the statement reads, "we’re encouraged by the Sense of the Congress Resolution on College Affordability and Student Loan Reform, as it reflects a real concern in Congress about the wisdom of the Administration’s proposal to eliminate the Federal Family Education Loan Program."
